Rokethon Monaco brings together people united by a shared commitment to animal welfare and responsible adoption. Held under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco, with the support of SPA Monaco, the event welcomes animal welfare organisations, volunteers, specialists, partners and members of the public who come together to support this important cause.
The event’s first edition took place on 5 October 2024 at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille. Through its solidarity walk, educational activities and opportunities to discover the work of animal protection organisations, Rokethon raises awareness of animal abandonment and promotes responsible pet ownership.
I had the pleasure of photographing this meaningful gathering, capturing its atmosphere, the people behind the initiative and the spontaneous moments that give it a distinctive character.
My approach to event photography combines documentary observation with an appreciation for detail, emotion and visual storytelling. The aim is to create authentic images that preserve the spirit of an occasion and communicate its significance.
